The first Turkish record of Opopanax chironius (L.) W.D.J. Koch was firstly collected from Tekirdağ province in 1969. morphological description the species “Flora Turkey and East Aegean Islands” written based on these specimens. has not been for along time untilday. This re-collected by us during a flora study 2014 at Malkara district, Karaiğdemir Dam road Tekirdağ. name this mispelled. situation corrected here. Its correct use is chironius. Also, study, expanded species, pictures, disdictive characters other ecology, fruit photographs ethnobotanical usage were given.
